Messages & Miracles~ ACIM~ Lesson 47

ACIM, loriLynn Koke, Spiritwithinus
The greatest strength comes from within ♡
True strength is knowing that only Love is Real♡
A couple of phrases that come to mind today. There are days where pulling up our socks seems difficult, when we have seemedly tried everything, nothing is working in our favour, times when we just want to let go, take a break or give up, even if just for a moment. We all have these moments; moments that often we refer to as moments of weakness.

If we only knew that we could do this and that our strength lie within us rather than in the external, and that this strength is available to us at any time, would that not be incredible.  What if someone were to tell you that this strength is within each us and has been all along. This strength is rooted in love and committed to our highest good.

It is so. You are loved. You are supported. You are worthy. Each and Everyone of Us. All we need to do is to ASK. Find a place of peace, a place of love, and ask to be guided, to be shown the way; ask for strength to carry you through, and for your burdens to be lifted. And then get on with your day, knowing; with Faith. God is the strength in which I trust.

The greatest strength comes from within because this strength is the wisdom and the awareness that God is within us all. The gift is knowing that in calling to God, that in asking, is not a matter weakness, for God's strength is based on his love for us.

A Course in Miracles ~ Lesson 47 ~ God is the strength in which I trust.

For many, trusting in our own strength often leaves us apprehensive, anxious and fearful; like a crap-shoot. Trusting in our own strength brings so many variables. What is under your control? What is there in you that can be counted on? What would give you the ability to be aware of all the facets of any problem, and to resolve them in such a way that only good can come of it? What is there in you that gives you the recognition of the right solution, and the guarantee that it will be accomplished?

So what is the secret? Where is the power & strength?  God is the strength in which I trust.

God is your safety in every circumstance. His Voice speaks to you in all situations and in every aspect of all experiences, telling you exactly what to do to call upon His strength and His protection. We were all given free-will to experience life, to learn & to discover. God truly wants this for us. But he also wants us to know that we can turn to him in times of need and darkness, to find the light.

Today we will reach past our weakness to the Source of real strength. Four five-minute practice periods are necessary today, as well as shorter, frequent ones throughout the day. Close your eyes and begin, as usual, by repeating the idea for the day:

God is the strength in which I trust.

Then spend a minute or two in searching for situations in your life which you have invested with fear, dismissing each one by telling yourself once again; God is the strength in which I trust.

Next, slip past all concerns related to your own sense of inadequacy, past the fear and the ego; trusting in the knowledge that it is the love within that you will gain confidence. The strength of God in you is successful in all manners. You must gain an awareness that confidence in your real strength, the strength of God, is fully justified in every respect and in all circumstances.

There is a place in you where there is perfect peace. There is a place in you where nothing is impossible. There is a place in you where the strength of God abides. This is that place. Within You. Within us all.

At this time, reach down in your mind and into your heart to that place of real safety. This safety is based on love of self. You will recognize that you have reached this place when feel a sense of deep peace. This may be only momentarily for the first try, but will gain greater momentum with each try as you move forward.

During the day, repeat the idea often.  Remember that peace is your right, because you are giving your trust to the strength of God.

In love & peace, lori-lynn
