Yourself and Others." Goblins are born in our mind when we are wounded and
from that point forward, we forget our wholeness. They remain with us in the
shadows, they mimic our voices, tricking us into believing that we are
unworthy, a victim, or unlovable. They represent the shadow side of ourselves.
They are trying to protect us from what has hurt us in the past. But each new
experience is, just that, a new experience. And to experience life fully, we
must face our Goblin, thank him for protecting us in the past and then relieve
him of his duties. (I have also heard the 'Goblin' called the 'Naughty
Roommate' which I thought was kinda fun!)
If we can learn to listen for their voice inside, this card
represents an opportunity for Growth! We must love ourselves by releasing
resentments and negative self-talk.
Within Each and Every One of Us is the Spark of the Divine.
Face your Goblin, give him the love that he really wants. Wrap him up in a big
blanket, rock that Big Guy to sleep! for you are safe, you've got this one! And
You have Bigger and Greater Experiences to Discover, so rest well, little
Goblin, rest well! <3 Love Love Love
