Survival for Necessity...

Survival  is the struggle to remain alive and living. In today’s society, the term Survival has taken on a whole new life; survival for necessity.  To just “get by”.  What is necessary to survive in this moment or that situation?

This 'survival' has been taken to a whole new acceptance of our reality.  If we can just make it through this situation in time, then we can move to the next stage. Right?  If we just do whatever it takes, no matter what that "whatever" is.  If deception is a part of our survival, does this, then, not make deception the foundation? If so, what does this mean to the process?  Terms such as “fake it til you make it.” “Create an illusion of...”  are not so much based on honesty, or for that matter, morality.  They are just based on an image that we want to create to move ahead, to “survive, ” to get ahead.  Is this justified? Sort of like the 'little white lie.' If it's to survive, right, it must be ok, it has to be.  If not, then, is there a limitation as to what extent is it justified?

Within Reason: The basis or motive for an action, decision, or conviction. A declaration made to explain or justify action, decision. Within the bounds of good sense or practicality.

Who decides what is justified? What boundaries have we put on this? Should these parameters naturally be based on morals and ethics or on the value of the survival?

I definitely need to think more on this....

And the Truth Shall set you free...

Truth has a variety of meanings, such as the state of being in accord with a particular fact or reality, or being in accord with the body of real things, real events or actualities.

Honesty refers to a facet of moral character and denotes positive, virtuous attributes such as integrity, truthfulness, and straightforwardness.  The quality or fact of being honest; uprightness and fairness; truthfulness, sincerity, or frankness; freedom from deceit or fraud. In English, the word originally had more to do with honour than honest.

Clearly and rightly so, according to my perspective and perception, I have a brave new clear understanding.  My thoughts are now focussed on necessity.

Perspective Vs. Perception

Perspective, by definition, is the way in which objects appear to the eye based on their spatial (of, relating to, involving, or having the nature of space) attributes; or their dimensions and the position of the eye relative to the objects; one's "point of view,"  the choice of a context for opinions, beliefs and experiences.

Perspective in theory of cognition is the choice of a context or a reference (or the result of this choice) from which to sense, categorize, measure or codify experience, cohesively forming a coherent belief, typically for comparing with another. One may further recognize a number of subtly distinctive meanings, close to those of paradigm (distinct concepts), point of view or reality tunnel (a subconscious set of mental "filters" formed from their beliefs and experiences, every individual interprets this same world differently).

To choose a perspective is to choose a value system and, unavoidably, an associated belief system.  When we look at a human perspective, it is a more social value system and its associated beliefs.

Perception is the process of attaining awareness or understanding of sensory information. Perception results when the brain processes and interprets physical signals that have activated the sensory organs.

Alice in Wonderland Syndrome (also known as Todd’s Syndrome), is a disorienting neurological condition which affects human perception.  A temporary condition, it is often associated with migraines, brain tumours, and said to be associated with the use of psychoactive drugs.

Perspective or perception is based on motivation.  Motivation is now and has always been acceptance; an acceptance based on individual uniqueness.  This is the a struggle.

I am unique.  As are you.

Personal Experience

You cannot learn from my experiences.

Although you can gather information from my experiences; you must make a choice to not pass judgment on my experiences or make a decision based on it.

You can, however, choose to take with you and learn your own experience.

That said experience is then, your own personal experience and has nothing to do with me.
