Welcome to my Blog! This page is about me, who I am, where I came from and the journey that I am on.
My life has been pretty good so far. I have much to be grateful for and many who have supported me unconditionally throughout the years. I am the middle child in a family of athletes, and extraordinary ones at that! Me, well, not so much. This is where my discovery journey began. It's not that I was not a good athlete, just not the best, above average at times, but certainly not the best! My greatest accomplishment running was when I was finally able to beat my dad in a 4 mile run! I kicked his butt and then collapsed to the ground with exhaustion!
Within the Dynamics of my family, I am the creative one, the artist, and also the intuitive. I always 'knew things.' Let me tell you, as a kid, this isn't always the greatest awareness! It's not exactly seen as 'normal.' The word 'crazy' comes to mind! So often child intuitive's begin to hide their gift from an early age, first and foremost because we don't really understand what it's all about. As intuitives have a high sensory connection to energies, as children, we also get a 'feeling' that we are different. We are often left alone to learn what to do with this craziness. So often we hide and try to forget.
The problem is that this gift is the core of our being. It is who we are. We then find new ways to express ourselves creatively, in a positive manner, such as as an Artist or Writer. More often than not, we re-produce its form in non-productive manner, such as anger, rage, additions ~alcohol and/or drug abuse (the last 2 help us to 'forget,' or so we think). This is my personal experience. It is also consistent with peers, we had many similar experiences and feelings.
From there, it then becomes the Journey back to our True Self. To that place to embracing our gift and freedom! Life is Indeed a Journey. And this was mine. Although I continued to 'read people,' in order to take myself out of the 'crazy box,' I studied Child and Youth Care (Special Needs), as well as Counseling. This became my 'expertise' when helping others, much more acceptable. With those that I was comfortable with, I shared that it was from my gift that I was counseling. With those I was not comfortable with, I touted the great names of psychologists (whom I did not always agree with, but nobody had to know that!). I was most often right on target, so few challenged where the information came from. It was a win-win for all!
Which takes me to the now, where I am now. Who I am, which is my True Authentic Self. I arrived at that place of embracing my gift after a series of crazy and dramatic events. Not the good kind either, Life Changing, all the same. I wrote about the events, in detail, in this Blog. I knew deep down who I was and what I wanted, but inside I continued to be afraid of my gift. Not the gift itself, but living outside the Box.
(I wrote about this also in my Blog). I knew that things had to change, that I had to change, and I knew where I wanted to go. But, I had no idea how to get there from here.Which is exactly why I created my Blog, it is my Journey and I welcome as a guest and peer.
Which brings me to what has been come to be known (by myself, as well as 2 of my peer Intuitives) as a 'Divine Intervention.' It was at this time that I was lead to sign up for a new and unique Trial Program. I had no idea at the time, but this was the beginning of finding my True Self. My Journey back to me.
I connected with my Life
Coach and Mentor about a year ago. I do know without a doubt that this
was Divinely Inspired as there was an immediate and unique connection,
an immediate sense of calm, of knowing. It was instant, and somehow I
was aware of the importance of our meeting. I dove into the water head
first and have never looked back! I put my heart and soul into the
challenges and homework. I studied and absorbed the information like a
sponge. The Key, for me, was that finally something made sense!
The courses were about accepting, acknowledging and then blessing your
past, your memories and most importantly living each moment with the
presence of mind, in the present! Being present in thought, deed and word. It was about Reclaiming my Gift, about finding my True Self.
Now, not for one minute would I say that it has been easy, but in the same respect, neither would I say that it was hard. But I saw the Immediate Rewards and the Power of what I was Learning. People around me saw it as well. I was studying, learning, absorbing information, I was so ready and willing to put into each session and my heart and soul. The reward has been a soulful journey back to me! My True Self.
My personal vision is and has always been, to create "A Place for People to Come to Celebrate Life," A Soulful Visionary Retreat to Celebrate Our True Self. Teaching, Learning and Sharing. I have always been a spiritual person, even when I 'appeared' lost. I had many mentors in this, my grandmother, 1st and foremost, and my mother.
I
have tattooed on my leg the essence of my belief...Divine Wisdom. 'The
Power of Understanding and Insight, To realize man's true nature or to
find your soul, the soul of others or the soul of the world.'
This is my Journey through and onto Enlightenment. The Journey is
continual and it is beautiful. I Welcome You to join me as both a
Teacher and As a Student. We all have much to learn from one another. I am not a Tarot reader, I
am an Oracle Card Reader, with the Assistance of My Intuition. I offer
guidance from Within, the Oracle Deck provides additional insight and
validation. Together we work to discover the lessons of your Soul, to
find Your True Self, to live from this place within, Your Highest Good.
The lessons and insights allow us to move forward, making mindful,
conscious choices based on our own unique and individual journey. We get
to CHOOSE where we are going. Truly understanding and living this, was
one of the most freeing and valuable tools I could have ever been given.
We are not our past. We are our today. My dream is to help unlock these
blocks within others. To help people discover their True Self. Perhaps
set the 'Spark' that lights the flame, or that inspires and challenges
to live from our Higher Self. Our True Self is the place that once we
find, we never want to turn out back on! This is truly Life Changing!.
Change Happens when We Choose to Change. Nothing Changes unless Something Changes!
One year ago, I could not have imagined or dreamed that I would say, "Man, I Love My Life!" But I do! I Know this IS who I am meant to be. The Smile and Voice within tells me so! I am eternally grateful to my Coach and Mentor. She is an incredibly gifted and enlightened soul. She says that it was me who chose to do the work, it is who I am. It WAS the gift of us working together, the Divine Intervention. Together, we found the pathways to my True Self.
The Most Incredible thing
happens when we choose to change, to create that change within
ourselves and within our world. People around us begin to change with
us. New people come into our lives that reflect that 'renewed' person
that we embrace within ourselves.
Through all of this, I began creating my own unique deck of Oracle Cards. The Artwork is almost complete. The Interpretations are near completion. I am so excited to have created a deck that reflects who I am as an Intuitive! And the lessons that I want to share, Universal Lessons. I am looking forward to sharing this very soon with everyone!
Life is a Journey, Love is the Destination. Everything comes from a Secure State or Fear State of Love. The focus of my readings is for all to be successful and abundant and that leads us on a Path towards our Heart and Soul's Desire, our own True Self. Let Love Be the Root of ALL Abundance.
