The Problem Dumper

I made a discovery today. Not that I did not know it before, but sometimes, for me, I have to 'feel' it to truly understand. Something like that anyhow. I went for lunch with my most amazing and wise niece and during one of our discussions it finally hit me, an new understanding. This actually happened a couple of times throughout our conversation.

What I know is that I love to converse to learn. Some people converse just to hear themselves speak. More importantly, they speak to "get it off their chest" so to speak. What I learned today, is that this exactly their intention. To transfer the problem to you, literally get it off their chest and pass it along.

There are a considerable amount of em-paths that are there to take these problems away. The problem is, most of these problems dumpers are in no way looking for a resolution or answer, in fact, their resolution in reality, is the fact that they are dumping the problem off to the nearest empath  It is a literal Give-Take relationship. The empath takes the problem and works through it until they have reached the best probable solutions, or so they think. The problem dumper has already found the solution, dumping the problem... gone... done.

Neither side is right, nor wrong.
It's really that neither side understands the other, or rather the
process of the other. The best solution to this is not so complicated. It comes with understanding, knowing and being honest within oneself.

On the problem dumper side, being conscious of when they are actually looking for some input and when they are just looking to off-load their problems is a start in the process.
As an empath  I have spent the better part of the last year understanding my role in this process. It begins with an awareness. Being aware of ones own energies is key. It, in my awareness, is a necessity for life.  As an empath, I have learned to be conscious of recognizing energies and understanding it. Easy question for the empath to ask is, "Are you honestly looking for some advice in this regard or are you just wanting to transfer your problems onto me?"

This puts the problem dumper into an unusual place of non-dumping and opens up an awareness to finding an actual solution, or steps forward. Interesting... just a different awareness for me.

Glimmer of Hope~Pioneer Quest

So many messages, so much to do. Well, our new life has begun. If there is one thing that I have learned, it's that there are many many lessons to learn.

This has been one of the toughest experiences of my life. But it did come with a mighty huge awareness attached. The 'thing' is, that, they really are only 'things.'

If the greatest lesson ever to learn was to be that there truly is only love, then, it's a magical place to be in this material world that we live in. Packing up, moreso, throwing away so much of what I had claimed as 'mine,' really doesn't matter. Really doesn't matter. I was continually reminded by friends that 'if you need it again, you can buy a new one!'
What I came to realize, was that what is it that we really truly need? It became clear to me that we surround ourselves with things that create a world replacing the love that is missing within. Does that even make sense? We are continually trying to fill void's of love within.

In the meantime, for me, it does feel a bit like being on Pioneer Quest, as my husband reminds me that I have often talked about how much I would have loved to have been on that show. Back to basics; learn what is really important, what really truly matters. I am sure that it is different for all of us, but perhaps that's the point. Although we do believe that it is different for each of us, the truth is that love is the most basic and only need and by finding that love within, rather than around, this may be the key to dicovering the magic within.
