I changed the title from Road to Journey... albeit they mean the same thing; I just like the word 'Journey' more.
Day 2 of the extreme weather conditions; today bringing with it -40 temps with a 
windchill of about -50. Who even knows what that means? What's interesting is that after the first day, we move on, it becomes a part of our day and everything is as normal. So we hunker down as we move into the weekend.

I slept well last night, only awaking a couple of times. When I awaken after a good nights sleep, I can clearly see that sleep deprivation is challenging. But there is no sense in going backwards, only today. Upon rising m thoughts took me to the current Presidential Administration and an awareness that caused me to understand the 'Ordinariness' of life and of each of us. There is no better, no worse, only what is. There is so much beauty that can be found in the simple experiences & things, we just have to remind ourselves to stop and look around; to see♡ love Is And I AM
I have learned over these past couple of weeks that happiness is not found in our past, where we thought or wanted to be, nor our future, where we place our hopes on going, but rather in this moment in time; to appreciate, celebrate; to see the beauty that exists right before our very eyes. My eyes.
My opportunity today is to see the sacred quality in the mundane; doing all tasks with total involvement, to experience, each experience, with love, for its own sake. As I enter into today, I will look through different eyes, one in which I merely experience rather than try or need to be brilliant, clever, dazzling, perfect, or extraordinary.
My gift that I offer myself is to be PRESENT, taking each step, one at a time, simply and at ease. Sometimes, it happens that you become one, in some rare moment. This, is this moment; seeing all of life's offerings as new; as they truly are. The Blessing: To experience the extraordinary in the ordinary.
Oneness with the Presence. Oneness with the Moment. Oneness aligned with God; listening, hearing, discovering. Sweet music, delightful essences, exotic colours, shapes, new sounds to touch my ears; at peace, still in the silent Happiness within, as it touches and shapes this experience, as it surrounds me and arises within me; fulfilled. It is these moments that become the ordinary. Today, enjoying in, delighting in♡ life♡
