To know that even when we cannot 'see' or 'feel' the growth, the development or the change, does not mean that it has failed us, or that it does not exist. There is always movement. This is much like our faith in miracles and for some, the existence of God himself.
Faith is knowing that He lives within our hearts and in the hearts of all and that he is working continually behind the scenes on behalf of our prayers of hope, our dreams of plenty, our visions of the future; the path in which we most need to travel.
This, consistent with the messages in this phase of 10, is a vital link between the separation and the existence of miracles, that requires an awakening from its sleep. The land may appear barren, dry, or soggy; so we fear, we worry, we become frustrated, angry or scared; but...it's only in not planting the seed that it will never grow. Plant the seed, nurture it, allow it to experience all that is required; knowing. Knowing that it will sprout and that it will blossom into a beautiful flower. Watch with anticipation for it to germinate, poke its head from the dirt, always with excitement and knowing that it will bud, it will grow, and it will progress into the triumphant flower that it is meant to be.
Another growth may also exist. That in which a seedling will appear 'magically' from where we had not planted one at all! ~an intention~within our mind~ delivered by our thoughts, with a prayer~
A Course in Miracles~ Lesson 43~ God is my Source. I cannot see apart from Him.
God is my existence. Perception is not an attribute of God. His is the realm of knowledge. Perception has no meaning. Healed perception becomes the means by which the Child of God forgives his brother, and thus forgives himself.
With this link in our separation between God and Faith, perception will become changed; its purity will lead to knowledge. This is its function as the Holy Spirit sees it. Therefore, that is its function in truth. Perception has no function in God, and, therefore, does not exist. But, we have been taught and therefore, learned, to make this our reality. This awakening now becomes the means for the restoration and our awareness.
Perception is continually changing as we learn and grown. It is not concrete. This is the allowance that must allow it to be.
We cannot see apart from God because we cannot be apart from God. Whatever you do, you do in Him, wherever you go, you go with Him, whatever you think, He is with you always, and therefore, you think as a co-creator with His mind. We cannot see apart from God because we cannot be apart from God.
If vision is real, and it is real to the extent to which it shares the Holy Spirit's purpose, then you cannot see apart from God.
Three five-minute practice periods are required today, again; one as early and one as late as possible in the day. The third may be undertaken a time convenient time for you. Today's idea should also be applied throughout the day to various situations and events that occur, particularly to those which seem to distress you in any way.
At the beginning of the first practice period, repeat the idea for today to yourself with your eyes open. Then glance around you for a short time, applying the idea specifically to what you see. Choose four or five subjects for this phase. Be sure that you select the subjects for this phase of practice indiscriminately, without self-directed inclusion or exclusion. You might say, for example:
God is my Source. I cannot see this desk apart from Him.
God is my Source. I cannot see that picture apart from Him.
For the second practice period, close your eyes, repeat today's idea again, and then let whatever relevant thoughts occur to you add to the idea in your own personal way. Thoughts such as:
God is my Source. I cannot see apart from Him... (continued with your own personal idea)...I see through the eyes of forgiveness or I see the world as blessed
Any personal idea related to today's idea is suitable; the key is that they are not be in opposition to it. The form may vary according to the circumstances and situations in which you find yourself during the day.
When you are with another person (equally applicable to strangers also; trying not to make distinctions at all), practice telling him silently:
God is my Source. I cannot see you apart from Him.
Breath to see the Love in All♡ the Holiness in self and others♡
