I chanced upon 'A Course in Miracles' on audio. I tuned my truck radio onto the station and began listening with an open & clear mind. This instantly surprised me as I connected with the words. I felt no fear while taking in what was being offered. I felt no offense or confusion. I only felt love and a sense of peace.
I am a deeply Spiritual person who base is Catholicism. I have learned for myself and teach my understandings, based on my perceptions. I have discovered along my journey that there is a vast difference between Spiritual and New-Age. There is no right or wrong, no better way, except that which is within the heart and soul. My religion has taught me about God, the life of Jesus, Mary, and forgiveness, while offering a freedom from sin. I have learned that the place to begin is with forgiveness. Forgiveness is whole and complete. Forgiveness of self is the key that unlocks the door and the chains that bind the soul to our past. It is the catalyst for the acceptance and the forgiveness of others. New Age offers tools and insight along our journey. I teach some of these New-Age tools, as they are a powerful aid. Spiritualism means focusing on the Spirit within; connecting with and finding the answers inside ourselves, with a deep commitment to love. To find the peace within the loving hands of God. To see and to understand that there is only love.
Only love. This is what resonated with me while I listened to the teachings in A Course in Miracles. It is love based and not fear driven.And so my journey begins. Beginning Monday, May 18th, I will be posting daily my teachings from the Students Handbook, the Workshop, a Course in Miracles, while following the Teachers Guidebook.
Why teach? First and foremost, this is who I am. To breath this in, and to acknowledge this, and to share the journey. The course states that no one is better or less than another, teacher and student, friend and foe, we are all equal. So I accept this.
I am excited to begin this new journey, of awareness and love, with an open heart and mind. I invite anyone who wishes to embark on this journey with me, to do so. It is a year long discovery. Each day a new lesson, only one lesson. The best place to begin is within. The best time to start is now.
If you are waiting and waiting for someone else to change, it's the equation that is misled. For it is within YOU that need begin the act of change to facilitate change in another.
Courage,
the Wisdom to go within, deep within, past the fear, anger, hurt, or frustration, and choose to change. These emotions are learned, of which we attach our meaning, and often a false sense of pride or stubbornness. A lesson learned,
breathed into our core, is a step forward, towards the light within.The time has come, the moment has come, to shine your light! 
The moment that we change our perception, our inner awareness, is the moment that our life changes. We re-write that which has been learned and accepted as our truth. The truth. We are all children of God. We are whole. We are each born into a vast, healing, and amazing Universe, whole & loving. We were born with all the gifts in which we need to not only survive, but to thrive in this world. It's both time to connect with and shine our light out into the world. To accept that miracles happen to us daily. That life itself is a miracle. There are no greater or lesser miracles, only an allowance of their beauty to shine through us.
