Sunshine & Rainbows

Bright beautiful day.. okay, for me it is raining, but still within, I feel alive again! I'm sure that this sounds corny, but it is how I feel, as I transform my being, my thoughts, my soul♡

Remembering who I am, brought me to a place of simplicity. As part of the process, I learned; and I discovered that it was easier to brush past any cobwebs that remained and to stand in the presence of myself and of the moment.

I had a discussion with my best friend, talking about 'mistakes.' I have always seen the word as meaning 'missed' 'takes' and we get to do-again (and again and again, if necessary, for the slower to learn some lessons!). Somehow though, it seems that our society has developed a sense of attachments to mistakes. So naturally, I decided to rephrase to a term that allows us the grace in which the mistake was intended.

'Opportunities to learn' is my new term. For me, this brings a new awareness and new opportunities; first to remind us of our intentions and second to remind others that we are all here to experience life to its fullest, and this includes making mistakes, which come from an inexperience. For me, this takes away the dread and the fear of making a mistake and opens us to 'BRING IT ON!'  To say of self and of others, 'Hey! She just created an opportunity to learn moment!'

Once we open ourselves up to the light within, to gain strength from our core, from the love within, we learn to grow, to not fear, and to experience more. 

Along with yesterdays challenge, I began to remind myself, 'if God is within my core, than he would not want, think, see, fear... this.'  'Or he would want, think, see, feel... that.' I begin to see with a renewed vision, a more gentle awareness, a kindness, that comes from peace and love. I don't have to remind myself, I need only remember. I need only to gain strength from my core. 

God is within everyone, everywhere, and in all things. We must return from that place of 'God Fearing' and enter back into the place of  'God Loving,' and with this, recognize the accountability within.  This also reminds me of the 'Breath of Life.' This is the breath that I take, that enters down into my core, to the light within, the God place.

A Course in Miracles~Lesson 36~ My holiness envelops everything I see.

Today's idea extends the idea of yesterday, from the perceiver to the perceived. You are holy because your mind is part of God's. And because you are holy, your sight must be holy as well. Today lesson reminds us of the holiness in Everything. God is within everyone, everywhere, and in all things.


Four three-to-five-minute practice periods are required for today.

Seek the Beauty from Within

First, close your eyes and repeat the idea for today several times, slowly. Then open your eyes and look slowly about you, applying the idea specifically to whatever you note in your casual survey. Say, for example:

My holiness envelops that rug.
My holiness envelops that wall.
My holiness envelops these fingers.
My holiness envelops that chair.
My holiness envelops that body.
My holiness envelops this pen.

Several times during these practice periods, close your eyes and repeat the idea to yourself. Then open your eyes, and continue as before. You may want to do a couple of  shorter exercise periods. With this, close your eyes and repeat the idea; look about you as you repeat it again; and conclude with one more repetition with your eyes closed. All applications should, of course, be made quite slowly, as effortlessly and unhurriedly as possible.
