My Journey to Spirit has been, to me, a long one. I have had so many incredible sparkle moments... but alas, as well, many tumbles and falls. How long does this take? The only answer to this question is, it takes as long as it takes. Then, I ask... when is enough, enough? ...Never... it takes as long as it takes. Change comes when we are willing to reflect on where we are and what has brought us to this point. From here we must challenge ourselves to discovered what we must do to move forward in a new direction and then move forward with passion. The first step towards Enlightenment is Acknowledgement. What a Gift that truly is. The next Step is Direction, Followed by Action.
I have said many times that we are each on our own path. It is one of unity, however, and one of enlightenment! What this means to each of us, is to be discovered.

I am not so much a fan of "healing ones past" as I am in taking the necessary steps towards a more powerful furture. This is coming from a place inside that keeps saying to me that we have created a society that dwells on the past and its faults, rather than healing it. This past is objective and often based on assumptions. My past is objective, and in this light, truly important, but as a stepping stone to my future.
It's often talked about. It is just that. Our past. It is and will always be a part of who we are. The challenge is, that no matter the circumstance, we bless our past for what it was, where it has brought us to and make the conscious move forward. It is a conscious effort. A learned behavior. Indeed, for me, this comes from a place where, I acknowledge that I have made many mistakes, done wrong and hurt people that I cared about. I know, through my journey, that EVERY thing that I have done was done with a certain intention. I was not aware of this at the time and much seems surreal.
What a gift that we could give to another, to give pure and honest blessings to those who have done us harm. This is not necessarily asking for forgiveness. I believe that the "forgiveness" word has been misused today by too many. We should, instead, acknowledge the constant grown within each individual. This is enlightenment.
Our Journey begins at birth. Perhaps while we are the womb. It is here that we truly get a sense of "who we are" the importance of our being and the people we will share our journey with. I do believe in Personal Maps displaying our Journey. I long did not truly understand this, for, if our destiny is already laid out, then we really don't have to do anything, no do we? I beleive that we surround ourselves with oour "group" of soul friends that will help to show us our way. And us, their's. Mixed up is life itself. The realization is that our "Map" is not every step that we take, but the lessons that we need to learn. And to teach. I also beleive that this is not only on an individual basis, but a family, community, and global level. At the core of this, is the Individual Role.
I am seeing now, more than ever, how we are all interconnected. This is essential to our growth.
The reason that I am reflecting on this is simple. It relates to my personal sense of self-esteem, perhaps unjust, perhaps irrational. After many years, I understand where this comes from. The next step is to move forward with Intention and Confidence. So I am. It's been said that everyone has a secret. My secret is that I am not confident. Period. I can portray confidence. But this is different. And it is a conscious effort.
No one person really knows it all. No one person is ever 100 percent correct. Everything is based or judged on personal assumptions, ideals, realities and falsehoods. These are my thoughts and I am accountable to these thoughts. They can and will be ever changing. They are a reflection of my personal reality and my thoughts. To disagree in agruement is a disservice to one another. To discuss, reflect and to understand more than one point of view, is truly enlightenment.
This is not where I was heading when I started typing today... often my fingers take on a life of my own. I willingly go where they take me.
